Stainless Steel hood baffle brace for Tri-Five Chevys
Get rid of that ugly factory underhood brace on your Tri-Five Chevy and replace it with one of our new Stainless Steel braces. These beautiful braces will dress up your engine compartment while maintaining exellent hood support and strength. They are constructed of 16 gauge stainless steel and are available in either standard 2B smooth finish or polished. These braces align with the factory upper radiator support bar when the hood is closed and will work with any car that does not have hoses passing over top of the support, regardless of radiator position. Smooth Firewall with 4" recess for Tri-Five Chevys
Want a neat way to clean up the firewall in your 55 56 or 57 Chevy and make more room for you engine. Try our new 4" recessed smooth firewalls CAD designed and built by HRD for fitment in 55-57 Chevy cars. They work great with all small block, big block, and LS based engines. Our rounded corner design adds style lacking in the traditional boxey recessed firewalls previously offered. We have installed these in customer cars with great success. They will work with Vintage Air Gen IV sure fit kits. We also reccomend RainGear wiper kits (available for sale below) with these firewalls that moves the wiper motor off the firewall and under the dash. We offer two firewalls to match the contours of either the 55-56 or the 57 Chevy which has a different upper cowl shape.

This well engineered kit eliminates the troublesome factory cable drive wipers and cleans up your engine compartment by relocating the wiper motor under the dash. Raingear works excellent with our Smooth firewalls and is a great addition to any Tri-Five Chevy.
