36 Chevrolet "Low Cab" Truck
Owner: Larry Hines

The objective of this project is to build a nice
classic truck with a traditional look, but with the reliability and performance
of a modern vehicle. Owner Larry Hines drove the truck to the shop in it's
stock configuration. As the pictures show, although the truck needed
restoration, it was very solid and drivable truck... an excellent platform to
build from.
Some of the planned features of this build:
- Mustang II front suspension by JW Rod
Garage
- Stainless tubular control arms
- Adjustable chrome coilovers
- 11" GM front disc brakes
- Power rack and pinion steering fed by GM
gen 2 pump for correct pressure
- Vintage Air Gen II system
- 350 Engine and trans supplied by owner,
painted red and dressed in Edelbrock apparel
- Nova rear end and suspension supplied by
owner with custom fabricated spring mounts
- Artillery wheels powder coated red.
- Lincoln Silver PPG base/clear paint
- Interior inspired by the original design
- Boxed front and rear sections of original
frame
- Custom cut and beautifully finished
Mahogany wood in bed
- Lokar shifter and e-brake system
- Firewall mounted power brake system for
ease of access
